Stephane Joyner, the passionate owner of DiverseCity Services, is on a mission to transform the Charlotte community through purposeful business growth. DiverseCity Services offers a dynamic, three-pronged approach: promoting diversity and inclusion within the construction industry, providing strategic planning for small businesses, and delivering educational programming and project management support for educational initiatives. Known as “the connectors,” Stephane and their team are dedicated to helping local businesses thrive with a solution-focused, results-driven mindset.

Through two Beyond Open grants, DiverseCity Services has been able to enhance its operations significantly. One grant award was used to purchase three vehicles, enabling the team to provide faster and more efficient service to clients. A previous grant award was allocated to exploring new software solutions to further expand their reach and impact.

As Stephane says, “The grant has freed up funds for us, allowing us to reinvest in the community and make a bigger difference.”
